How AppMeAI works

Last updated: 30 September 2026

AppMeAI turns app-store information into one searchable catalogue. It is a discovery tool, not an app store, and every download still happens through the official store.

1. We build a searchable catalogue

AppMeAI collects a limited set of public listing information needed for discovery: app name, developer, category, price type, rating, review count, download information when available, a short description and the official store link. The search experience is built around Google Play, the Apple App Store, Samsung Galaxy Store, Huawei AppGallery and Xiaomi GetApps. Catalogue coverage currently varies while more listings are collected.

The stores do not expose exactly the same fields. Google Play may show an install range, while another store may omit downloads entirely. A missing number is displayed as unavailable rather than treated as zero or invented.

2. Your query is matched to relevant listings

When you press Search, AppMeAI compares the words in your query with app names, categories, subcategories, developer information, searchable keywords and short descriptions. An exact or close app-name match receives stronger relevance than a listing that only contains one common word deep in its description.

Category buttons prepare a more specific query, but they do not send a search by themselves. This lets you combine categories and your own wording before using the Search button.

3. Best Match orders comparable results

Relevance first

Exact names and close name matches are prioritised before broad keyword matches.

Evidence second

For similarly relevant apps, available reviews, downloads and ratings help distinguish established listings.

Missing data is neutral

An app with no rating, reviews or downloads is not promoted merely because those values are empty.

Your filters still apply

Store and Free, Freemium or Paid selections limit which matching apps remain visible.

4. You can choose a different sort

Best Match is designed for discovery. Rating, Reviews, Downloads and A–Z are separate sorting choices. A high rating should be read together with its review count: a 5.0 score from one review is less established than a 4.8 score supported by thousands of reviews.

5. Store variants may be shown together

If the same app is found in more than one supported store, AppMeAI may group those listings so users can compare the available store links. Ratings and review totals can differ by store because each store maintains its own customer data.

6. Sponsored apps are labelled

A developer may pay for a relevant sponsored placement. Sponsored results use a gold crown and the word Sponsored. Payment does not alter the app's public rating, reviews, pricing or organic relevance data. AppMeAI does not present sponsorship as an independent endorsement.

7. The official store is the final source

Prices, compatibility, subscriptions, permissions and availability can change after a listing was collected. Before installing or paying, open the official store through the app card and check the current details, developer identity, privacy information and recent reviews.

Questions or corrections

If a listing is missing, duplicated or outdated, send the app name, store and a short explanation through the Support page. Never send a password, payment-card number or API key.
